Intuition is the key for adults and kids, find out why and what some intuitive nudges may feel like!!

Your 6th Chakra is the Ajna or Third Eye Chakra. It is located between your eyebrows and gives a glorious and vibrant indigo or purple colour. It also resembles the image of an eye.

Have you noticed that you second guess your decisions or can’t even make them?

This Chakra governs your inner intuition and higher self.  You will know this Chakra is out of balance in this area if you are having troubles with feeling confident in pursuing goals, making decisions, and finding your direction or journey in life.  It also holds the TRUST factor in all areas.

When it is in balance, your connection to trusting yourself will not be questioned.  You will be content with the choices you make and will see good in any outcome.  You will not be looking for reassurance in any areas of your life and you can trust yourself and others.

Trying to connect with your Spiritual Self?

Another area the third eye chakra covers is connecting with the spiritual realm.  You will know if this chakra is out of balance if you are too much in your Head. You will also find that you may think and act on impulse.  You will have no real feelings or concern for any outcomes.  You may also only think in the now.  You may notice that you get headaches or foggy feelings on a regular basis if out of balance.

When in balance, you will enjoy each new day and what it has to offer.  Your outlook on life is positive even when you see obstacles.  You feel the love in everything and all around you.  You will have a better understanding of decisions and actions people make.  You will also trust your gut instincts without second guessing.  You will feel lighter, happy and have a positive outlook on life.

Have you been having health concerns with headaches, nervous system, pituitary gland, and sinuses?

You got it.  Your chakra may be out of balance if you are experiencing any of these issues related to this area. We tend to blame headaches and other issues on environmental change or too much work!!  But what’s the root cause?  The real question you need to ask, is your third eye chakra closed?

So how do I Balance this Chakra?

There are several ways you can restore balance to your third eye. You can meditate on it by using the meditation word SHAM. You can picture pouring light into it and cleansing it out. You can carry or meditate on a stone or crystal to restore balance. We suggest Fluorite for this Chakra as it is a particularly good for stabilising your energy and balancing and reconnecting you to your higher self.  It will help bring you the energy of confidence and trust as well as its an immune booster!!

You can also have an energy practitioner balance your Chakras for you.

Do you ever wonder how some kids just seem to know it all?

Or they seem so wise for their age?

They say something and it sounds like they could be giving you advice. Then they do something and it makes you wonder, how they knew how to do something like that or figure it out.

We are all built with intuition. It is in us the second we are born. It all depends on who continues to use their intuition. And sometimes us as parents can shift our child’s way of thinking and change their train of thought.

It’s not that we do this on purpose or have any intention in doing so. But it’s almost like we are telling them what to think and what to do.

We are at times very over protective and we always want the best for our children. But we don’t realize that we are instilling our thoughts and thinking patterns into them.

This leaves our kids relying on us to think for them. During this process our kids then lose out on their own intuition. When they no longer use their intuition other issues may arise.

Self-esteems and confidence are big ones that go with it. I have taught workshops and have worked with many kids on building up their intuition again. When I can help them build their intuition again, they will regain their self-esteem and confidence back. They feel good about the decisions they make not just at school and home. But they make wiser decisions when with friends and are out on their own. They are more confident to say “NO” and trust if they are in a bad situation, so they can leave to get out of it.

What parent does not want their child to feel confident in decisions they make? Or stand up for themselves and make better choices, may it be a school, with friends or for themselves.
It also shows in school and on sports teams. Do you see your kids hesitate on answering or asking questions? Or filling out work for school or deciding on what or how a project will look.

What about in sports. Do you see them hesitate on where to go or what their next move is?

This is all because they are seconding guessing their first though which, was their intuition. This process should be natural and they should just go with that first thought and know it was the best decision for them. But in today’s society everyone is trying to tell everyone else what to do and how to think. Why can’t we just speak for ourselves using our intuition?

After all our intuition comes from a place of purity, love and peace. It helps us in our journey to become better people. The obstacles only make us better. And in the end it sets our children up for a brighter future in being a leader and not a follower.

Do you have a hard time making decisions and trusting in your gut or intuition?

Well this can help you with simple decisions and learn to trust your intuition again.

It’s called a pendulum. It usually looks like a string or a chain that has a crystal or an object handing from the bottom of it. Sometimes there is also a small bead, loop or crystal on the top where you can hold it.

So what is a pendulum used for?

Many use it to gain insight to certain Yes, No questions they may have. As when using a pendulum you are quieting your mind and letting your higher self and spirit answer the question from a place of peace and pure love.

If you are distraught or not in a good place then it would not be best to use this method, as your intentions will not be aligned with a positive truthful outcome.

When your intent is good and clear you can try using a pendulum for simple Yes, No questions. The more experienced you get with it, you can then do more advanced questions.

You can make your own pendulums as well. A simple string or chain with a ring on the bottom or a rock tied in. You can use anything you want. Go out in nature and make one.

To hold the pendulum you hold the top usually in your receiving hand between your thumb and third finger. If this is not possible then use what is comfortable.

Now that you have your pendulum you need to find out how it will swing for you when you ask questions. Because there is only a Yes and No answers this will be your first question.

With the pendulum between your fingers and hanging still, concentrate on how the pendulum will show you your yes swing. Be patient. You can say out loud or mentally. Please show me my Yes swing.

Once you have found your Yes swing, now find your No swing and then your undecided swing. But usually when you know your Yes and No, the last way is your undecided.

Why an undecided answer. Well sometimes there are things that we just do not need to find out or know at this point in your life. So you will not get an answer.

Now, go have fun with your pendulums. Just do not abuse it or your Ego will pop in and it will not work.

Here are some starter questions you can use.

1. Is my name __________
2. Do I Live in _________________
3. Have I lived in a previous life time?
4. Should I make spaghetti for dinner?
Keep practicing with this. It is a great tool to have.

Remember to share this with your friends and family. It’s great for the whole family to try!

Intuitive is an adjective, so you may be wondering why we use it as a noun and label ourselves Intuitive. After all, everyone on the planet is intuitive to some extent so choosing this word to define ourselves may seem odd. You may be thinking, “Why not use Psychic, Medium or Clairvoyant as a title instead? Isn’t that what most people in your field use?” It’s true; many practitioners in our field do use these titles. Here is why we chose Intuitive.

Psychic is a term first introduced into the English language in 1870 by Edward William Cox (thank you Wikipedia!). Since it is a relatively new word in our language, people first used it to cover a number of energetic abilities. More often than not, the word psychic relates to people who read someone’s energy field to answer questions about the person’s current or future state. This is where the phrase “get a reading/have a reading done” comes from. My colleague Karen and I do not read our clients’ energy. We connect with Spirit to pass on messages from that realm to our clients. We are simply the messengers to whatever Spirit wants to share with our clients during our sessions. Even when we conduct a Chakra Balance (balancing your 7 major energy fields), we are not reading your energy. We connect with our guides and they show us the state of your energy fields and, through us, our guides cleanse and balance your fields. We are simply the conduits.

Most of us associate the term Medium with someone who channels people who have passed on, usually loved ones, to pass on messages from them. Who hasn’t heard of the Long Island Medium? Some Mediums use a method called Trance Mediumship: they have the spirit of their client’s loved one enter their own body [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][the medium’s body, not the client’s ;)] and speak in the loved one’s voice and use their gestures. Straight Mediumship, not Trance Mediumship, is one aspect of our gift, and a service we offer, however, it is not the only ability we have so we decided this term didn’t quite fit us.

A Clairvoyant is someone who has the ability to see images or visions about a client’s past, present and/or future, whether by reading his or her energy or by channeling Spirit. When Karen and I channel Spirit, we do receive messages in images and pictures, so we are Clairvoyant. However, we also receive messages through our other senses. We both also hear messages, so we are Clairaudient; feel physical sensations, making us Clairsentient, receive smells, making us Clairalient and we have innate knowing, making us Claircognizant. Clairvoyant, Clairaudient, Clairsentient, Clairalient and Claircognizant is rather a mouthful and C5 didn’t seem like an appropriate handle.

Karen and I were both initially trained in energy work through the development of our intuition so Intuitive as a title seemed appropriate. Intuitive is also a term that can cover a lot of abilities and is a word that is relatable to most people. Everyone has moments where his or her intuition kicks in. Think about it. Haven’t you had a time when a former colleague or distant relative suddenly pops into your mind out of nowhere and then a few days later you hear from that person? Or what about when you are struggling with a decision, and suddenly the answer appears on someone’s bumper sticker or the song on the radio just as you are wrestling with the decision. You chalk it up to coincidence but it is really Spirit giving you knowledge through your intuition. Take a moment right now and think about a time when something like this has happened to you.

Finally, I find a lot of people recently are talking about using their intuition or being intuitive. Have you noticed this? I even read something recently that quoted Prince Charles saying “I have tried never to force a plan or design, but to wait for an ‘intuitive’ idea to form itself when the time is right.” (Extracted from Highgrove: A Garden Celebrated by HRH The Prince of Wales and Bunny Guinness). It fits with our times.

So there you have it. We would love it if you shared some experiences you’ve had with intuition. Leave a comment below or share one FaceBook or Twitter.
