What Does A Coaching Session Look Like And How Long

There will be quite a bit of us getting to know each other and lots of listening on my part.
I will then take your information and put together steps that will best serve you and your situation. Yes, this is all about you and supporting you.
We will then have several follow up sessions as you will leave sessions with new insight, clarity and a new motivation that you will be able to implement into the time we’re apart. You will be able to contact me if there is a set back between sessions. I’m here for you.
As for length in sessions. The first session will be the longest usually lasting 60-90min. Subsequent sessions last 45-50min. It’s suggested to do coaching in either increment’s of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months to truly reach your potential and goals. You put in the work, you can achieve it.

What Type of Life Coach are You?
I classify myself as a Life Balance Coach. I carry out all the traditional techniques yet, I really strive to look at your whole life to see where it needs balance and the how to find the balance, so you can truly realize your full potential.
What Is Channeling/Mediumship?
Channeling is when Karen connects with her spirit guide and the spirit world to receive messages for you. These messages offer insight, knowledge, and wisdom that is highly personal and tailored to you. Karen is also able to channel your loved ones so you can speak with them.
Benefits can include happiness, joy, peace-of-mind, clarity, easing of grief, closure, insight, and comfort.
Will I get the same benefits from a remote session as I would with an in-person session?
Yes. Karen uses the same techniques for a remote session as she would for an in-person session. This saves you time and travel and can still do the work from the comfort of your own space.
For channeling, mediumship and Chakra Balance, The information Spirit passes to her comes from their realm, not ours. As such, you do not need to be physically present when she channels Spirit for your messages or answers to your questions. How do I prepare for a Channeling session?
Messages flow more easily and smoothly when the recipient is open to the experience. Setting your intention before the session will make a big difference. It is suggested that you simply say to yourself “I open my mind and heart to this experience and whatever messages come through”. Your session will begin with a message from one of Karen’s guides. Following that, you are free to ask any questions you would like about the message or any other topic you are seeking clarity and/or guidance on. It is a good idea to prepare some questions before your session. Answers can range from a simple “Yes” or “No” to something that may last up to 30-minutes. As such, we suggest you prepare 3 to 5 questions for a 30-minute session and 5 to 7 for a 60-minute session. You may want to connect with a loved one and have questions for them or just want to listen to what they have to say to you. Some clients prefer to just listen to the message from our guides and don’t have any questions at all.
What can I expect during a Channeling session?
At the beginning of a session, I look down or to the side to focus my attention. I then give a silent OK, giving thanks and asking for the highest wisdom to come through for you. I then connect my spirit guide that will then usually greet you and give you a personal message. Once the message is finished, you are free to ask any questions you would like and/or ask to speak to a loved one who has passed on. Karen receives messages in the forms of words, images, physical sensations, and innate knowledge and will pass everything on to you in its entirety. The messages come from a place of love and you will receive messages best suited to you and your situation as the time of your session. I do not interpret your message or offer my opinion on your messages, I simply pass on insight.
What if I have a session and don’t get any messages?
I guarantee that you will receive messages from Spirit. I have found that messages will flow more freely for those clients who come with an open mind and heart.
What if a bad/dark spirit comes through or I get bad news?
When doing any energy work, I always ask for only the highest level of spirits and the highest wisdom to come through. There are lower frequency spirits but I don’t believe bad/dark spirits exist.
Spirit will only give you messages that you need and can handle at the time of your session. Powerful emotions can be raised when receiving messages and communicating with loved ones but they are typical emotions of joy, happiness, relief, peace, and comfort.
Will I get all my questions answered in a session?
Spirit offers you what you need to know at this time in your life. At the beginning of each session, my guide will have a message for you. Typically, there will be time after this for you to ask any questions that you may have. Whether you get all your questions answered during one session depends on the number of questions you have, the length of the messages and answers you receive and the length of your session. You can always book another appointment if you have lingering questions. I typically find Grace my Spirit Guide is amazing and answers most questions before you even ask them!!
What can I expect after a Channeling session?
You will receive a lot of information during your session and you will find yourself thinking about it for many days afterwards. This is normal as there is a lot of information for you to process. I recommend you treat this the way you treat any new information you receive. For example, do you typically journal? Talk things over with family and/or friends? Take a walk to sort through things? Go for a run for clarity? Then do this. If talking things over is your preferred method, I suggest you give thought to who in your life is best suited for this discussion. Who will be most supportive and listen to you with an open heart and no judgement? And remember, the information you receive is yours to do with what you will. You can follow it or discard it. You have free will and the control is yours.
How often should I have a Channeling session?
This is difficult to answer as it really depends on the individual. I have clients that come every few weeks, some that come every few months and some that come once or twice a year. Heck, we ask for messages for ourselves several times a week – sometimes several times a day! It is up to you and how often you feel the need for guidance and clarity from Spirit or to connect with someone who has passed on.
What is a Chakra Balance?
Every person has 7 major energy centres (Chakras) in their body connected to an aspect of his/her life. These energy centres can become blocked or misaligned and leave you feeling out-of-sorts, off-kilter, tired and with little or no energy.

What are Chakras?

Our Chakras play a big part in our emotional and physical health. These energy centres can become cloudy and misaligned as a result of stress, anger, illness, grief and other negative emotions and leave you feeling off-balance, depleted, out-of-sorts, and with little or no energy. How can you see my Chakras?
When I conduct a Chakra Balance, the first step is to connect with a guide. My guide then shows me an image of your Chakras in my mind’s eye. I “see” them through my intuitive senses. Well, this may seem strange, it actually happens!!
Why is a Chakra Balance important for my health if I can’t even see them?
In short, Chakras play a big part in our emotional and physical health as they are tied to almost every aspect of our life (see previous question). When you are suffering in different areas of your life, your chakras become blocked and out of balance, leaving you feeling depleted and out-of-sorts. By having your Chakras cleansed and balance, your energy and vitality is restored. A balance is also great if you are looking to increase your spiritual development.
Do I need to prepare for a Chakra Balance?
There is nothing special you need to do to prepare for a Chakra Balance. Being in a relaxed state is beneficial, however, I have conducted remote balances on clients as they were working, eating or exercising and had just as positive results.
What if my Chakras won’t come clean or can’t be balanced?
Your Chakras will come clean and will be balanced. Some may take longer to cleanse and balance than others (and some may not need cleansing or balancing at all) but I will work with my guides until they return to their proper state. As your Chakras are energy centres, they continually respond to stimuli and will need to be cleansed and balanced periodically. Low energy, feeling out-of-sorts or off-kilter usually indicate you need a Chakra Balance.
What if I don’t feel better when you are finished?
Results for every client are different as every client is unique and has different needs. The most common results are feelings of alignment, balance, centeredness, increased energy, lightness or a combination of any of these. You may experience all or one of them. Occasionally, some clients experience some dizziness at the end of a session as a result of a rebalancing of energy. When this occurs, I will put my hands on your shoulders to ground you and this should take care of any dizziness. For remote sessions, we are able to ground you intuitively.
How often should I have a Chakra Balance?
This is difficult to answer as it really depends on the individual. I would recommend you have a balance whenever you have a feeling of being out-of-sorts, not feeling grounded or find your energy is very low and it persists for more than a few days.
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology promotes natural healing using a method of applying pressure to specific points on the feet. These pressure points correspond directly throughout your nervous system and relate to your internal organs and glands. Using this controlled pressure, Reflexology stimulates nerve endings in the feet, improving blood supply to the rest of the body.
Benefits can include: relaxation, improved sleep and help promote good health, alleviate pain and discomfort, prevent illness and reduce stress.
What is Therapeutic Touch?
Therapeutic Touch rebalances and removes blockages from your energy’s meridian system.
In Chinese medicine the channels that conduct energy throughout the body are called “meridians”. These meridians form a network. If the network is disrupted or blockages occur (due to stress, illness, etc.) the body’s energy will not flow as required and organs will not perform their functions optimally. This is when imbalances arise. When the meridians are clear and open, energy flows freely and natural healing is restored.
Placing her hands above your body, Karen is able to detect any disruptions and/or blockages in your energy field through the sensations of heat and/or resistance. She then clears these disruptions or blockages by rebalancing your energy field with her hands.

What does Reflexology do?
Doctors agree that over 75% of our health problems can be linked to nervous stress and tension. Reflexology improves nerve and blood supply, aiding in the natural healing process and lowering stress. It will aid in the vitality of your overall internal and external body and system functions.
Can anyone have a Reflexology session?
Almost anyone can receive the benefits of a session unless you have any medical devices like screws or plates inserted in your legs. If you notify the practitioner, the session may be able to be altered to accommodate you. Anyone with DVT (deep vein thrombosis/blood clots) in their leg will not be able to have a session. Due to safety and health standards, there must not be any open or exposed wounds on the area receiving Reflexology. A Chakra Balance may be an alternative if you are unable to have a Reflexology session
What will I feel during a Reflexology session?
Many people find Reflexology sessions very relaxing. It is not uncommon for clients to fall asleep. Some clients will perspire due to toxins being released in the body. The pressure that is applied is firm, but not painful. If there are painful points on the feet, these are signs of energy blockages at the corresponding body points. The Reflexologist will continue to work the tender spots until the energy blocks are released. If at any time the press is uncomfortable, let the Reflexologist know and the pressure will be reduced. For people who have ticklish feet, no need to worry. The pressure is a firm touch.
Do I need a maintenance plan?
Like all good things we need to continue with good practices, just like exercising, brushing your teeth and healthy eating. By maintaining energy healing programs, most clients feel more balanced, have fewer colds and illnesses, experience less stress and sleep better. Frequency will depend on each individual, however, once every month or every two months is our suggestion.
What outcome can I expect if I do keep Reflexology as part of a regular maintenance program?
With regular session, clients with severe PMS or irregular menstrual cycles have reported more regular and more tolerable cycles. Clients with acute inflammatory disease or illness have experienced a lessening of inflammation and pain, and in some cases medication intake has been reduced. For couples experiencing infertility, Reflexology has helped with the overall maintenance of the reproductive system’s vitality. Please be aware that Reflexology is a complement to your healing process and overall health. It is not intended to replace any medical advice or treatment.
How Long is A Coaching Agreement
Coaching agreements are quite flexible. Majority clients choose 3-6 months depending on their goals and situation. They can be weekly or bi-weekly sessions.
Some people do also stay on for follow up visits for more of a maintenance plan once they reach their goals.

Prior to the first session, you will fill out and send to me your self-discovery questionnaire and the results of the personal strengths assessment (which I will review before our first session).
Your first session will be the longest at it is our Discovery Session– we spend the majority of time exploring in depth your answers to the questionnaire. Then we begin to uncover who you really are and what you wish to focus on in coaching.
We’ll do ongoing work in future sessions and we’ll also identify and get to know your Inner Critic. Over time coaching will help you create ways to decrease its impact on you and how to change your mindset skills and give you tools to support you.
After the first 2 or 3 foundational sessions, you will bring any topic of discussion you want to the session and we’ll explore it. You are in change about what you wish to talk about, how can we move towards further goals and how to lessen and deal with difficult situations.
Remember I am here to support, guide, motivate and empower you to see and reach your full potential. As we go through this we will celebrate and talk about your successes.
