We Can Channel Living People
My Mother is still alive.
This is what a client said to me after I channeled messages from her Mother during one of my early sessions as a professional Intuitive.
It took me by surprise for a moment.
But when I thought about it, it explained how her Mom had revealed herself to me during the session. In my experience to that point, clients’ passed loved ones who came through, came in from above me. This woman’s spirit had come in to the right of me, at my level.
I then realized, “We can channel living people”.
As humans, we tend to think of Spirit the way we think of ourselves. We give Spirit limitations that bodies have. That they can only be in one place at one time. This isn’t true. It is why a Mother who is passed can be with all her children at the same time. As Spirit, she isn’t confined to the limitations of a body.
Because we are all Spirit.
Our spirit can communicate with others who aren’t in our presence. Even when we are in human form. After all, at our essence, we are Spirit. And our spirits don’t have to be constrained by bodily limitations.
It is not unusual for a living person so show up during a channeling session.
There have been many times since then that a client’s living family member or friend – a loved one – has shown up during a session to tell them something. More often than not, it is because they can’t communicate the message as a human being. Maybe they are emotionally repressed. Maybe they can’t find the right words. Maybe they are shy. But their spirits aren’t. So their spirits will come forward to express and share what they can’t as human beings.
So don’t discount the messages a Spirit brings just because the person is living.
They are speaking to you from the depths of their being – their spirit, their true heart – and, like spirits who have passed on and bring you messages, they do so with the best of intentions and for your highest good.

so when people who are alive get channeled, what is the experience of those alive? very interesting thanks.
i have an experience of being on LSD and channeling my alive father. it was strange because he was the one to ask about the LSD trip when i had a flashback to the channeling experience. however i didn’t tell him about our exchange, although very personable, i know that he would believe it.

Thanks for your question. When people that are still alive get channeled, know that their own soul or higher self subconsciously will either approve the amount of information that will be shared or they can refuse not to share anything at all. On a side note, all of our souls/spirit are usually very loving and open to make peace or communicate in a way they may not be able to consciously. Some individuals may experience having a dream about it and remember the dream, Or not remember anything at all. Some people may say they feel like had Deja Vu or flashbacks. Some do not even notice at all. So it really varies.
When it comes to your Father asking you, it could be his intuition of “just knowing” especially being a parent. Again, your father may have had a dream or Deja Vu as well. There could be many different ways for him connecting to that. Or it may have been he did hear from someone that you were on LSD.
To channel, it is not necessary to ingest of go in any altered state. We are all very intuitive and with practice, you can consciously do it as well. I hope this helps with the question you asked. Have a great night.
Can a living person channel me ? Like i feel them and sense them? In and on me

The easiest way to answer this and understand it is yes. Living people can be channeled. We all have our higher self so when channeling a living person, I feel that we all have boundaries in place. So it may be easier to channel one person vs another, again depending on their boundaries (subconsciously).
Maybe, setting a personal intent to not allow others to channel your spirit would be of help. This would be simply setting the intent with a clear direction not to or limit what access they have to you.
Today I was alone and sitting on sofa watching tv, just relaxing. Suddenly I started talking myself “Where are you? I need you, I’m confused, I don’t know what to do. I’m tired. Help me, please I need you”. Those all words flow out from my mouth just for a few minutes. I then realize it wasn’t me, I’m wondering, why I’m saying that while I’m watching tv.
Is that also like I was channeling messages from spirit of someone???

I am not a doctor to treat or diagnosis, I can offer insight from my area of work. It could be channeled from spirit or your higher self. If you are intuitive or in a very relaxed state, it could be spirit looking for help or it could be channeling a living person as well that you have just tapped into.
You can ask in your mind out loud, who is this if you know them if its a male or female energy. YOu can ask many questions to help with more clarity of who it could be. You can also ask them to leave you be and to go to the white light. Archangel Michael is also a good spirit to helo clear out any unwanted spirit as well. Automatic writing may helo as well. Take a pen and paper and journal all that you are feeling and the messages that you are receiving. I hope this helps a bit.
I feel sense these 4 people in me . i feel there skin hear them ect . i know them also. Am i crazy my mind playing tricks on me or are they channeling me?

I do not channel spirit through me (living or deceased or spirit of any sort) I act as a channel. Hearing and sensing messages or spirit is normal. But if you feel they are in you or affecting you mentally, this could be different. I am not a physician, so I can not treat or diagnose. Also, from the email, it is difficult to give any suggestions.
We went to a psychic night and my nephew got a message . It was definetly about my mother in law but she is alive but has alzeimers is this possible . I’m so confused

Yes, a living person can be channeled. It is the spirit that is being channeled, not specifically a person. It’s their spirit being channeled. So non-verbal individuals can be channeled to have a voice as well. I hope this clarifies. Have a great day
Thank you so much for explaining this! Today I did a mini reading for someone and assumed the spirit was deceased but she said that he is alive. Everything I picked up on was correct other than he was alive still. Thank you! Now I know what to tell my clients when this happens.
Hello Karen. I read you article with great interest. My Dad suffers from dementia and was placed in a Personal Care Home in January. Over the past 4 months my Mom has been seeing him in her bedroom (was his bedroom as well previously) during the night. He talks to her, touches her, bounces on the bed. My Mom was initially scared silly, thought someone was playing a trick on her and searched the room for cameras and recorders. She is fully awake when this occurs. He does not have a message for her, he’s just there. When she speaks to him he disappears. When she reaches out to touch him, he’s gone. She is not afraid yet rather comforted by his presence. I would appreciate your thoughts on this. Why would this be happening?
